TOLERANCES

In 2024, the Heimspiele Nr.1 e.V. association was once again able to offer drama, music, comedy, puppet theater and dance at charming venues in the town of Ladenburg from 27 June to 7 July.
The association was delighted with the large number of visitors and the great interest in our festival. Theater “unplugged”, you could say, reflects on the original power of artistic performance and can therefore even be sustainable. It deliberately manages without video projections, without artificial light and even without a roof!
The absence of stage design and technology creates a certain aesthetic that audiences from the region have gladly accepted.
After the successful pilot festival in 2023, the team from the association Heimspiele Nr. 1 e.V. feels vindicated in its work. In 2024, the overarching festival theme was “Tolerances”, in which we asked questions about the cultures and boundaries of our coexistence from many perspectives.
